Alexis de Tocqueville (1805-1859 a. d.): "Americans are so enamored of equality that they would rather be equal in slavery than unequal in freedom".
THE CURSE OF EQUALITY
"Superiority" and "inferiority" have always existed, regardless of what we think of them.
They will always exist, and they are necessary.
They form one of the main parameters of diversity.
No two people are equal.
Even two drops
of water are not equal: compared side to side, they have at least positional
differences; compared one after the other, they have time differences. And that
is only the beginning.
They may
have infinitesimal (nevertheless important) optical, qualitative, quantitative,
content and etc. etc. differences.
Any difference implies that one is
larger, faster, lighter, heavier, taller, or "better" from any of thousands of
perspectives...
There are countless forms of superiority and inferiority. All of
them are relative, or they wouldn't even exist.
What is "superior" or "better"?
Shorter
in some perspectives, taller in others. Heavier or lighter, brighter or darker,
richer or poorer..., depending on the criteria.
Equality is a prejudice of democracy,
Socialism, Liberalism, Conservatism and so on simultaneously: our logic puts
them together in harmony and conflict at the same time, like screws and oranges,
schizophrenic giraffes and sky rockets..
"All men are created equal" is a glib statement.
It cannot refer to
capabilities, genetic attributes, qualities or inborn potential.
If it
signifies equal opportunities or rights, it is instituted by laws or customs,
not by an act of creation connected with man. Yet, political necessities can
make any of the above holy or criminal.
Inequality is simply diversity.
It only
looks bad in the eyes of the equality fetish.
Equality is impossible in the light of
diversity, competition and evolution.
To make it palatable, we call it equality
of rights, but rights equality always mutates into equality of merits, negation
of diversity, suffocation of competition, sand banking of evolution, enforcement
of decay.
Equality by right is a lie, a deception.
Equality by law is an oppressive distortion that kills progress and paralyzes
the inept, uneducated, psychos, the underachievers, the perverts and the
otherwise dangerous in their
own handicaps.
It is the enforced equality that makes chronic the temporary handicaps of the "inferior".
The defenders of the concept of equality
claim that it only refers to equal opportunity and equal justice, but the
concept is invariably distorted into demand for total equality of merits, status
and results.
It gets votes and captures the mirage worshipers.
Equality is unnatural also insofar as man
wants to be helped, guided or taught by the "better" (= stronger, specialized,
competent, more knowledgeable, better informed, or better equipped) man.
Some men need to emulate or even unquestionably worship someone.
Others are most beneficial when they can lead.
An interrelation ship that often works is
the mutual devotion of leader and follower, as in the traditional family, church,
business and organizations for creativity, productivity or action.
We have
substituted it with a hostile relationship and legislated war between man and
woman, employer and employee, between races...
We have reinforced the most destructive
"equality" pattern we know: right to oppose and to fight.
Even in its best form, it
invariably leads to inequality.
Then, if the one is "right", the other is
"wrong" and ultimately punished or otherwise disadvantaged.
Without restraint, it can conduce to anarchy, massacres and
disintegration.
The invaders, oppressors, despots and other malefactors were only better
organized tan their opponents.
Like the better shooter in the Western movies.
Then, the opponents got better organized.
Who know who is right, when history (=script) is written by the winner?
Harmony in human environment is only possible when the reality of different rights, different duties, different capabilities, merits, faults, rewards is accepted.
Troubles started when we abandoned reality in favor of the pious equality lie.
Equality was adopted as an unrecognized confession of our inability to understand, and cope with, differences.
We confess our surrender to the adoption
of the second-best with the peevish question: "Who judges the judges?".
Yet, we judge that there be no judgment; we judge what to enforce and prohibit
in public and private matters; we judge taxes, speed limits, damage and
compensations, liabilities, punishments and rewards, prison and execution...
We
let mediocrity judge in democratic elections, where democracy often becomes
monocracy ("ochlocracy").
We judge race and sex equality against reality.
We surely judge in the most vicious way,
when we destroy the reputation and lives or prominent people who innocently made
statements in harmless disagreement with current moral, political, racial,
religious or sex fetishes.
We have killed the traditional values and asserted freedom of expression, but we
have instituted a black-racist and feminazi Inquisition.
What is the characteristic, tradition or pride of a person or group is viciously attacked by the equality-addicts like a plague to obliterate, like instituting sickness at the expense of health.
In 1988, the black city-council of Chicago was seriously considering the proposal to remove the image of a sailing-ship from the city emblem, because it is a "symbol of slavery", and to outlaw the Christian cross as a "symbol of white supremacy".
Homosexuals demanded normal people to induce their sons to marry homosexual men to prove they were not homophobes.
Feminists are up in arms about the
"learned role patterns" children are allegedly brainwashed into.
Accordingly,
the tendency to play with dolls is judged as arbitrarily imposed on girls, otherwise both
boys and girls would choose dolls to play with...
It is incomprehensible that the equality
addicts ignore the fact that only girls have uterus, ovaries, breasts, mammary
glands, Fallopian tubes, menstruation, pregnancy, child delivery, child nursing
and the myriads of realities, conditions, feelings, instincts, advantages,
handicaps, needs, joys, and other characteristics boys cannot even fathom.
Woman's superiority is mutated by the feminazis into woman's
inferiority...
Feminazis and equality addicts assert
that boys and girls must be educated unisexually, in spite of their natural
differences that cry to the heavens.
This is a typical case in which the
equality dogma is a perversion of nature and reality.
- If the inferior is to serve the
superior, then our children are superior, since we serve them.
Superiority is
too often a relative concept based on fantasies of misinformed wishful thinking from
insecure people.
- We are being homogenized. We are not supposed to admire or despise anyone.
Excellence is also under severe
suspicion.
Our equalitarianism is truculent and conceited.
Mediocrity and ignorance are the ultimate winners who swallow even the
equalitarians into the new Inquisition.
- Just as legislated welfare perpetuates
poverty, our legislated integration and equality laws perpetuate the
differences, disparity and "inferiority".
They outlaw the meritorial basis of
progress and civilization.
They drag us into national decay.
- Equality is a false notion that can be
invoked in any case: we can complain about inequality anytime anywhere about
anything, for inequality is the natural state of things in just about any case.
On that premise, for instance, democracy (another arbitrary notion) can be found
wanting in any case.
So can equal-rights breaches be found anywhere we fancy to
focus on.
It is a paradise for frivolous and dishonest cases.
- The more wealth, opportunities, freedom and education are used to achieve equality, the more inequalities are created by the different individual abilities, ambitions and motivations, which are freed by the increased opportunities.
- Equality is a wishful thinking motivated by misconceptions.
- Equality can only be achieved by punishing the fit and rewarding the unfit.
- Only slaves are equal. To a point.
- Equal opportunity has the purpose of facilitating equality, but it achieves the opposite by emulsifying unequal talents.
- No group of people can remain
functional without a hierarchy.
Without it, the group dissolves when disputing
parties cannot reach an agreement.
The unresolved dispute is an unavoidable
occurrence in the family as well as in a business.
The smallest human unit, man and woman,
is the most fundamental of all groups of people for obvious reasons.
The union
of man and woman is also the one with the strongest reason to persist in
stability.
As much as man and woman may love
equality, dominance of one is necessary to overcome irreconcilable differences
that can destroy the family unity.
The fact that all over the world the male
human evolved into prominence is more convincing than any equality ideal.
"Family is a democracy" is a malignant cancerous statement.
VIVE LA DIFFÉRENCE
Contrary to general expectations,
advantages and handicaps due to differences are perpetuated when equality is
imposed by legislation.
The law imposes the appearance of equality while concealing the causes of
inequality beyond the reach of competitive evolution.
Even the mention of the
real causes of inequality becomes a forbidden issue.
The legislation for inequality "in favor of the rich, the male or the powerful", is not as poisonous as the imposed equality.
Whereas equality offers no alternatives,
legislated inequality at least suggests the attainment of attributes of the
favored category in order to succeed and produce.
This certainly promotes the development of
talents and most paradigms of evolution.
The higher percentages of female and "minority" chiefs of state, business, social and cultural leaders in "prejudiced" countries without enforced sex and racial equality, as opposed to the American enforced-equality scenario, point out the counter producing results of the American enforcedwishful equality legislation .
Some European and Asiatic countries, for instance,
exhibit sexual and racial stratifications that would shock the American
equality activists.
Yet, their women and "minorities" achieve there much more
power and prominence and higher status than ours.
The reason is that their
"prejudices" are open assessments of the starting differences to be dealt with
as variable factors.
- Equality should not consist of rights we claim against each other, but of services we offer to each other.
- Equality of duties is not the same as equality of rights. It is much more and better.
- Equal rights are nonsense without
equal duties.
People who have more rights than duties are often the least reliable.
- The claimed equality of opportunity
for people of diverse capabilities is contradicted when the diversity is known
before the opportunities are provided.
That is, equal opportunity is offered
only when we don't know in advance that one of the contestants has better
qualifications.
The faster runner is intentionally handicapped, the heavier boxer
is paired with one of the same weight...
We are afraid of superiority and
inferiority.
When we know in advance that someone is likely to win, we not
only handicap the better one, but we make the handicap permanent and
penalize the winner with guilt or some other loss.
We are leveling our Nation downward in a
sort of anti-evolution or planned decay.
Equality is so oversimplified that it obliterates the desirable differences
between man and woman, old and young, knowledge and ignorance, virtue and
turpitude, beauty and ugliness, truth and fiction.
- When more women and blacks must be hired for "equal opportunities", the fact that not enough competent persons can be found proves that the goal is only based on wishful thinking from a false (strangely wishful) premise of "unequal opportunities".
- The conviction of equality tends to
poison human relations when reality must be faced.
Difference is considered like
a sin.
Stating a simple truth like: "I am more intelligent than you" causes a
childish resentment in the listener, as if the alleged higher intelligence of one
diminished the intelligence of the other.
The fetish of equality is then worsened
by the competition worship.
Mediocre people (the voting majority which is
flattered as "smart" and sophisticated" by politicians and advertisers) need to
be reassured that all are equal, lest they could not compete with the better
ones.
Their false vision (from the equality deception) renders them unable to
improve themselves by following, and learning from, the leaders.
Competing with one self is vastly more evolutionary that competing with others.
Therein lies the deep conflict between downward democracy and enlightened hierarchy.
In order to be brought down to the level of
the “common man” (which permeates everything), enforced equality tends to
eliminate the differences that culture has been able to discover, evaluate,
foster and discriminate.
It can plunge mankind back into barbarism and below it into
inhuman injustices.
A p ompous defense of equality can be easily
improvised by anyone completely devoid of cultural literacy.
His obtuse
ignorance is easily hidden by the equ ality dogma that each opinion of each person has equal rights and whatever else we can think of.
Equality is mentioned as a self-evident
truth, but it is used as a standard like a Procrustean bed: stretch or cut the
persons who are shorter or longer than the bed.
The mythical warlord Procrustes loved to do it, to se lected guests in his
castle.
Making people equal is intended to raise the level of the lesser people to that of the better ones.
However, the only result of such an endeavor has been, everywhere, to lower the general level toward the lowest.
The reason is that we can only improve
ourselves by self-disciplined efforts, not by somebody else's designation or
legislation. The latter can only better our legal stature, not our real worth.
Certainly not our happiness, because others will resent us.
If the government
punishes them for resenting us, the situation worsens beyond what can be described here.
Opinions from instant and improvised knowledge cannot have equal rights as opinions matured in life-long experience, studies and research.
Thus, enforced equality can become the cesspool of civilization, morality and evolution.
The observation that “equality” means only “equality
of opportunity” may be sincere, but democratic social reality causes
the "of opportunity” to automatically mutate into "of results"
because the voters find that opportunity is worthless without the sustained
effort they are unwilling to make.
Therefore they expect equality of results.
Similarly, it is well known that, in almost all cases, “You are entitled to your opinion” does not mean sincere respect for your opinion as an equal. It implies: “I don’t care about your opinion”, or worse.
The obtuse cynicism or hostility of such a statement becomes obvious to any fairly intelligent opponent.
The result is often self-feeding hostility, or worse.
Appealing to unbiased intelligence to arrive at an impartial examination of the opposing points of view is apparently beyond common people’s willingness or ability.
Responsible examination requires impartiality, open mind (which requires heroic self-discipline from the untrained) and rigorous learning to reach the knowledge required to conduct a useful examination.
Therefore Diogenes was said to go around with a lit lantern in full daylight searching for that kind of man…
That was thousands of years ago, with other words, in an ancient language, but for the same purpose.
Even if they didn’t have computers and AIDS.
What now? One-dimensional Clinton, his peers and his groupies… And media devoted to circulati on and spun “truth” to serve circulation.
They win, because the overwhelming voting majority want to believe rather than know.
Belief, on the other hand, always includes an ad hoc truth to swallow, decompose, excrete and flush down when and as needed.
Therefore it is dangerous for common man to
seriously investigate anything he believes in.
That is very difficult to flush.
Over 200 years ago, Voltaire (1694-1778 a. d.) said that if there were no God we would have to invent Him.
That had long before become obvious, since thousa nds of years of experience have proven that worship and belief in God are far more important than our investigations about Him.
No matter how far back we go into the past, we find an inequality and servitude we cannot deprecate enough.
Beginning with the inequality of man and woman.
In fact, woman was blamed for mankind's evils, as the inquisitive Pandora who opened the famous box (or vase) containing all of mankind evils.
Then silly Eve, was reputed to
accept a rotten apple from a malevolent mediocre snake.
Countless men and women still believe it after about
3000 years.
Apparently, both fear the power and responsibility of woman’s existential advantage.
Even the “lowliest” unwed mother personifies the “Mother Nature” metaphor after heterosexual conjunction.
First on a primordial level, before reaching beyond
procreation.
For this, human aspiration is a free posture, not nature’s mandate,
for nature doesn’t care who survives.
A mother can naturally become a sophisticated nutritionist,
nurse, teacher, educator, psychologist, and whatever her offspring needs. Or
remain on a promising cow level; because -as far as we know- being human offers
the advantage other forms of life don't have: learning and self
improvement higher up.
But we must accept it, just as simply and miraculously as
we accept God (no matter how little we understand).
A man can too, but he harbors no promising “Father Nature”.
He must prove himself all his life relentlessly: hunt, kill, compete, conquer, build,
lead.
Typically, man builds pyramids and mousetraps.
Woman nurtures kings and
commoners.
Therefore history is made by woman, but men make history.
A woman who disdains her natural power sinks into imitating (“competing” with) man’s treadmill.
But man/woman are devotedly complementary, not “opposite” sexes.
Genuine feminism tried to re-route man from Mars to Venus, not vice versa .
Gender feminism wants woman to “transcend” the family and compete with man in selling bonds or driving cement mixers.
It declares science a patriarchal fraud, and that all gender inclination differences are male-imposed.
It decrees family as woman’s slavery, lesbianism as liberation from heterosexual male oppression, western culture and white male (adding a smug racist incongruity) as misogynous strongholds…
Some call the gender feminists “feminazis”, and I quipped about them, while supporting the genuine feminism.
Normal women are not gender feminists, but they are made to believe they are, by a semantic deception.
The extremist gender feminists detest man and family, and want normal women to thunder for their oxymoronic brand of “equality”.
I don't know any normal man or woman who would not
prefer (consciously or not) the genetic differences, for they are coherent with the triumphant rites
of life.
